The "International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering" (IABSE) is a non-profit scientific society established in 1929 to promote the international exchange of knowledge in the field of structural engineering. It has 4'200 members in 100 countries, all over the world. Its secretariat is in Zurich, Switzerland.
